Cathryn "Cat" Lovley, MPS, LADC, joined the clinic in 2025 and is proud to offer services both via telehealth and in person at the Golden Valley office. Cat received her Master of Professional Studies in Integrative Behavioral Health from the University of Minnesota, earning her a license in Alcohol and Drug Counseling, and is working towards her license of Professional Clinical Counselor, under the supervision of Sonya Knudson, Psy. D, LP. Cat was recently accepted into the Ph.D program at Walden University for Forensic Psychology. Cat works with adolescents and adults (16+) in outpatient mental health settings. She has a background in Dialectic Behavioral Therapy.
Cat values providing a safe space for people to grow, learn, and evolve. She encourages her clients to speak openly about their issues and desires, providing a space to talk, learn skills, and navigate life stressors. Cat has experience working with clients from a variety of backgrounds and cultures who struggle with behavioral or substance addiction, trauma and PTSD, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and those who are involved with the prison and judicial systems. She also works with individuals who struggle with sexual health and wellness concerns.
